Hulscher et al., “Strategic Deactivation of mRNA COVID-19 Vaccines.”

This is based on the preprint, not the actual study since paying for what is likely bad science isn’t a good investment.

First, there is no reason to “detoxify” the mRNA vaccines. They claim “The stability of mRNA vaccines, their pervasive distribution, and the longevity of the encapsulated mRNA along with unlimited production of the damaging and potentially lethal Spike (S) protein call for strategies to mitigate potential adverse effects.”

The mRNA in the vaccines breaks down in hours to days in the body using natural enzymes like RNases. Even without enzyme activity, mRNA is not a very stable molecule. That is why they have such strict handling protocols. It doesn’t replicate and each strand can only be translated into a protein a limited number of times before normal cell biochemistry breaks it down into its component parts. This is basic college cell biology.

There are unusual circumstances when it might persist longer, but that has more to do with certain chronic conditions. They are cherry picking these individual examples and trying to gereralize them to the entire population, which is flawed reasoning.

One of the most interesting things is that they propose using siRNA and RIBOTACs delivered via lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) as an antidote. There is a great deal of irony to this because McCullough has previously claimed that LNPs “may pose risks to human health.” Antivaxxers have jumped all over LNPs as being dangerous as a result.
