Yeadon is a pharmacologist who has spread a lot of lies around COVID and vaccines. People point out that he worked for Pfizer, which is true, but he had nothing to do with the vaccine division, he worked on allergies. His dissertation was “Receptor mechanisms involved in opioid induced respiratory depression in the rat,” which was a good fit for his allergy work. Further, his tenure there ended in 2011 when his division was closed. One of the big ironies that is missed by the antivax and “big pharma” crowd is that after Pfizer, he started his own company, Ziarco, which was purchased by Novartis in 2017 for $325 million (page 162).
Lies
- September 7, 2020 (Lockdown Skeptics – How Likely is a Second wave?)
- “The proportion remaining of the population who are susceptible to the virus has fallen sufficiently far that a sustained and growing outbreak of disease is no longer supported.”
- “Those displaying vigorous T-cell responses to this family of coronaviruses are resistant to or immune from infection.” – This statement was dramatically disproven in Manaus, Brazil.
- “Viral evidence historically tells us that you don’t generally get infected by the exact same virus twice.” – Has he not heard of influenza? One of the reasons people have repeated COVID infections is because the virus mutates rapidly.
- October 16, 2020 (Lockdown Skeptics – What SAGE Has Got Wrong)
- “Limited, regional outbreaks will be self-limiting and the pandemic is effectively over.”
- “The proportion of the population remaining susceptible to the virus is now too low to sustain a growing outbreak at national scale, the pandemic is effectively over.”
- “I will now show you the two, absolutely fatal flaws in the infamous model of Imperial College.” – This is ironic given that the Imperial College was one of two groups closest to my predicted death toll in the US (they were still off from the actual total by 49.2% compared to my <1%).
- Not only is this chart he made wrong, but it is particularly ghoulish to think that children aren’t impacted by COVID. (He was opposed to the work by SAGE.) “Young children are rarely made ill by the virus and seem poor transmitters.”

- (Continued from above)
- “There is absolutely no need for vaccines to extinguish the pandemic.” – Myth: Vaccines Don’t Stop Transmission
- “You do not vaccinate people who aren’t at risk from a disease.”
- “You also don’t set about planning to vaccinate millions of fit and healthy people with a vaccine that hasn’t been extensively tested on human subjects.” – Myth: The Vaccines Were Rushed
- December 1, 2020 (ADMINISTRATIVE/REGULATORY STAY OF ACTION)
- This motion was to stop the study of the efficacy of the COVID vaccines. He has ZERO expertise in this field. His graduate work and career was in allergies. His goal was to “stay all other clinical trials of vaccine candidates designed to stop transmission of the virus from the vaccine recipient to others and/or prevent or mitigate symptoms of COVID-19 for which PCR results are the primary evidence of infection.” This is not the language of a scientist; it is the language of a person who wants to allow a pandemic to cause excess disease and death. That’s psychopathic.
- “Petitioner deems the current study designs for the Phase II/III trials of BNT162b (“the Pfizer/BioNTech trial”) to be inadequate to accurately assess efficacy.” He’s not an epidemiologist and has no basis to make this claim that is so far outside of his field.
- “It is unclear what, if any, instructions/information patients/subjects were given regarding ADE and PEG-related issues and (potential) fertility- or pregnancy-specific issues.”
- ADE is antibody-dependent enhancement. It occurs when non-neutralizing antibodies help a virus infect immune cells or drive inflammation. This doesn’t happen with the COVID vaccines because they target the spike protein. It was only an issue for other vaccine types in animal studies very early in the pandemic. Billions of doses have been administered and there is no evidence that it occurred .
- PEG allergic reactions are very rare. If it were an issue, some laxatives, toothpastes, and cosmetics would have to be banned.
- There has been no impact on fertility rates, if anything, the downward trend the past decade has flattened.

One plausible factor is resentment over Pfizer shutting down his unit. Once he started down the antivax rabbit trail, the only way he could support his arguments was to start floating other conspiracy theories and lies as well.
In his defense, he managed to get one thing right. “I am not an epidemiologist. I’m not a mathematician, either.” That should have been the end of him talking about anything to do with the pandemic.
